The Peace Letter Project was featured in the Rotary District 6000 News, 1st Issue 2019-20.
June 2nd, 2019: Two HUGE buses arrive in our quaint little street in Flensburg, Germany, delivering Rotarians from 21 nations, who had attended Hamburg's International Rotary Convention.
Unfortunately, Rotarians from Johannesburg, South Africa, and Chennai, India, did not make the connection. Their bus seats were unknowingly filled by Rotarians from Singapore and California, who decided to join the friendly group following the guys with Keokuk Peace Letter signs in Hamburg at the RI Convention. Both parties were surprised where they ended up, and at the same time, thoroughly delighted they got to join this event.
